wag

Wag is a short "melodrama of the fantastic" about a man who admits to his wife that he's having an emotional affair with their dog. Shot on 16mm in a historic craftsman house; and inspired by the gothic stylings of German expressionism, Douglas Sirk technicolor, and surrealism; Wag marshals deadpan comedy and transcendent fantasia to consider the power of furry mediators to divide and renew our relationships, and the power of transcendent surprise to reconcile the strangest of interpersonal divides.

Set to premiere early 2026.
